"SoftScale":
Architectural & Structural Take-Off
SoftScale is the fruit of Roctek's most
recent efforts, bringing the highest quality take-off software into the
Windows age. SoftScale is the first of
many Roctek products to fully capitalize on the ease and user-friendliness
of Windows. SoftScale will help you
perform a detailed quantity survey in CSI Divisions 3 through 16:
measuring square footage, lineal footage, and counts. In addition,
SoftScale lets you create custom
formulas for more detailed computations, and also features 3-dimensional
take-offs for concrete, roofing, drywall, and many other type of
structural components.
And because
SoftScale is written specifically for Windows, you can interface directly
with all other applications, including spreadsheets, estimating programs,
or custom database applications.
SoftScale is designed
to be able to work either stand alone or in conjunction with any Windows
spreadsheet (Excel, Lotus), Database (Paradox, Access
etc.), or estimating program (Timberline , WinEst, HCSS, and any Windows
program). SoftScale is remarkably easy to learn - our typical user
is very comfortable in about 20 minutes.

DE": Earthwork Cut & Fill
WinEx DE helps you calculate
earthwork cut & fill volumes with great speed, accuracy, and ease from
both paper plans and PDF files. Simply
trace off a site plan all existing and proposed topo line elevations, spot
elevations, and undisturbed areas, and
WinEx DE will instantly provide you with accurate earthwork quantities
-- cut & fill volumes, export / import volumes, and separate work region
calculations. WinEx DE also provides
color 3-D topography modeling and site balancing.
WinEx DE is the ideal solution for
general contractors in need of fast, accurate earthwork quantity surveys.
WinEx DE allows you
to trace in contours, enter sloping spot elevations, and define
unchangeable regions. In addition, WinEx DE has a powerful "Work Region"

Master":
Advanced
Earthwork / Utilities
Designed
specifically for the excavating contractor, WinEx Master provides even greater
power for very comprehensive site take-offs. WinEx Master
provides detailed
trenching and piping take-offs for underground utility work. In addition,
WinEx Master allows for
strata calculations, with up to 20 strata layers, each with independent
swell and ton conversion factors.
Trench Input
Function - Allows for easy calculations of on site trench quantities.
Virtually unlimited trench templates can be defined and used calculating
cuts (including strata), fills, and lengths. WinEx Master uses cross slopes
to calculate trench quantities for increased accuracy. All quantities
generated are sent to WinEx Master comprehensive "Report System" for
maximum ease of use and quality. Trenches in the trench library can be
printed for documentation, inclusion with bid, and use in the field.
Data
Collection - Import and export of ASCII files typically used by Data
Collection Devices for surveying and staking. Data may be imported to
multiple distinct areas both for existing and proposed
Soil Strata Analysis - Allows for
entry of boring log information regarding soil sub-strata. You can enter in
depths from the log and WinEx Master will compute surfaces accordingly.
WinEx Master will compute volumes in both bank and expanded yards of strata while
allowing you to specify whether particular soil materials are
suitable for use as native fill. Also helps you calculate cut to the bottom of a particular
soil layer. Cross-section displays across the site will show you soil strata
layers at any point.
