"e-WinEx" is a professional-grade Excavation software product that works with Electronic Plans, CD's, PDF's for on-screen cut & fill take-offs. Roctek's "e-WinEx" helps you calculate earthwork cut & fill volumes with great speed, accuracy, and ease -- giving you "peace of mind" when bidding earthwork quantities. Simply use your PC mouse to trace off your PC screen all the existing and proposed topo line elevations, spot elevations, and undisturbed areas, and e-WinEx will instantly provide you with accurate earthwork quantities -- cut & fill volumes, export / import volumes, and separate calculations for sub-grade and material quantities for building pads, parking lots, and roads. "e-WinEx" also gives you a color 3-D terrain model of the existing and proposed site, along with automatic site balancing. e-WinEx is also an ideal solution for general contractors and construction managers who need fast, accurate earthwork quantity surveys.

Using only your PC mouse, "e-WinEx" allows you to trace in contours, enter sloping spot elevations, and define undisturbed areas within the site. In addition, e-WinEx lets you trace in an unlimited number of work regions on the site, each containing unique characteristics such as topsoil stripping and sub-grade allowances, with automatic calculations for concrete, asphalt and stone in each region.

"WinEx DE" -- On-Screen and Paper Plans Take-off for Earthwork Cut & Fill
"WinEx DE" lets you do both On Screen and regular paper plans take-offs. It is possible to achieve very high degree of accuracy very quickly using both the On Screen trace and regular digitizer data entry methods.

e-WinEx uses an exceptionally dense grid to compute its values. Included in e-WinEx is a powerful measurement tool that allows you to calculate volumes, tonnage's, areas, footage's and any other miscellaneous quantity on site (trenching, paving, landscaping, curbs etc.).
e-WinEx generates color coded cut & fill maps that show you where the deep areas of cuts & fills occur, cross-sections between any two points on the site, and detailed 3-dimensional displays of any surface (and also a cut/fill display in 3-D). e-WinEx features a slick site balancing routine that lets you quickly adjust either the entire site or any portion of the site to minimize import/export. e-WinEx runs on most digitizers and can directly paste answers into any Windows estimating program or spreadsheet, such as Excel.
