"WinEx DE" is a professional-grade Excavation software that works with both paper and digital site plans for earthwork cut & fill take-offs.

WinEx DE generates color coded cut & fill maps that show you where the deep areas of cuts & fills occur, also cross-sections between any two points on the site, and detailed 3-dimensional displays of any surface (and also a cut/fill display in 3-D).  WinEx DE features a slick site balancing routine that lets you quickly adjust either the entire site or any portion of the site to minimize import/export.  WinEx DE lets you directly drop your take-off quantities into any Windows estimating program or spreadsheet, such as Excel.
