"WinScale" is the fruit of Roctek's most recent efforts, giving you the very highest quality take-off software available. WinScale will help you perform a detailed quantity survey in CSI Divisions 3 through 16: measuring square footage, lineal footage, and item counts, with many detailed take-off routines for slabs, footings, walls, framing, drywall, acoustical tile, flooring tile, roofing, and more. In addition, WinScale lets you create your own custom formulas for more detailed computations, and also features 3-dimensional take-off viewing for concrete, roofing, drywall, and many other type of architectural and structural components.

And because "WinScale" is written specifically for Windows, you can interface directly with all other program, including Excel and Lotus spreadsheets, estimating programs, or custom database applications. WinScale is designed to be able to work either stand alone or in conjunction with databases written in Paradox, Access etc., or estimating programs such as Timberline, WinEst, or HCSS. WinScale is remarkably easy to learn - our typical user is very comfortable in about 20 minutes.

"WinScale" measures areas, lengths, and counts items. It also has a formula generator that lets you apply an equation to any measurement, and has unique 3-dimensional takeoff abilities that provide solutions for concrete, framing, roofing, flooring, drywall, and practically any other building trade. Among these features are slab/footing takeoffs, roof layouts (with hips, valleys, joists and all), tile layouts (for acoustical & ceramic flooring) and many more.. These aren't just "assemblies" where you provide a simple factor - these features actually draw and layout components exactly as they will be built - and report the precise quantities (including buy quantities). All at the click of a button.

Master Builder Integration:

Roctek has created a special tool to allow flexible integration between our Takeoff programs and the Master Builder® system. This tool allows you to use the powerful Roctek Takeoff routines and integrate the estimated quantities into your Master Builder® estimating module.
