"WinScale" Digitizer Software, for Demolition Take-off    

Rock Technologies Corporation has undertaken the task of integrating "state of the art" hardware with software programs that not only provide an advanced measuring and take-off program, but also operate in conjunction with all other spreadsheet /database / estimating software on the market.  Roctek provides a unique combination of features for estimators:  the edge of working with a proven, successful industry leader and innovator, while running specialized software that works right along with your preferred estimating methods, e.g. Excel or Lotus spreadsheets.      

"WinScale" will help you quickly and accurately measure square and linear footage, cubic yardage, asphalt & concrete debris volumes, and count items.  In addition, "WinScale" lets you create your own custom formulas for more detailed computations for all scopes of work, and also features 3-dimensional take-offs for walls, columns, footings, and slabs and many other architectural and structural components.

And because "WinScale" is written specifically for Windows, you can interface directly with all other applications, including spreadsheets, estimating programs, or custom database applications.  WinScale is designed to be able to work either stand alone or in conjunction with any Windows spreadsheet (Excel, Lotus, Quattro Pro, etc.), Database (Paradox, Access etc.), or estimating program (Timberline , WinEst, HCSS, and any Windows program). WinScale is remarkably easy to learn - our typical user is very comfortable in about 20 minutes.

WinScale measures areas, lengths, and counts items. It also has a formula generator that lets you apply an equation to any measurement, and has unique 3-dimensional takeoff abilities that provide solutions for concrete walls, slabs, footings, and practically any other building trade. Among these features are pre-built "routines" for concrete footings, slabs, walls, and circular / rectangular columns. These aren't just "assemblies" where you provide a simple factor - these features actually draw and layout structural components exactly as they will be built - and report the precise quantities.  All in dramatically less time than it takes to calculate manually, and with greater accuracy.   You'll be able to get out more, "tighter" bids!
