"Quik-Ruler" Digitizer Pictorial: For Roofing Take-off No Computer Needed!

No Computer Needed! The GTCO Quik-Ruler Digitizer: "Roll-Up", portable version: Note LCD Display Box at top of picture, and corded Pen Stylus on right. The digitizer will measure through about 50 sheets of drawings. The Quik-Ruler is also available with a Hard Board digitizer. (GTCO "Super L-IV")
Measuring the square footage of a roof: Simply touch the Pen on each corner, encircling each roof area (Points 1 - 10) and return to where you started. No matter what the shape of each roof area, the square footage is measured instantly! Then simply multiply by the pitch factor to calculate total roof SF / Squares. Take-off quantity is shown in the LCD Display Box.

Measuring Linear Footage for Ridge Lines (red), Valleys (green), Drip Edges (blue). (below) Simply touch end points of ridge lines, valleys, etc. to instantly measure linear footages.

Points 1 -3 (Red): Measuring linear footage of ridge lines / drip edges. Points 4 and 5 (Blue): Measuring radial linear footage. Red Squares: Counting the number of roof drains. Take-off quantity is shown in the LCD Display Box.
