For estimators doing architectural or structural take-offs who need to take-off standard blueprints and also do take-offs from PDF files On-Screen, we recommend the following. SoftScale software draws, prints and stores a picture of each item measured from standard blueprints using a digitizer, and also on-screen measurements from CD's, PDF's, and downloaded e-drawings. Package # 2 will also work directly with your current Excel or Lotus spreadsheets. Requires a standard Windows PC, Pentium II or better, with color monitor and two (2) USB ports.
