For estimators doing basic architectural take-offs who'd like to see an on-screen visual display while making measurements, we recommend the following. Roctek's "Prestto" software draws, prints and stores a picture of each item measured. Package # 2 will also work directly with your current Excel, Lotus, or Quattro spreadsheets. Requires a standard Windows PC, Pentium II or better, with color monitor and two (2) USB ports. (Prestto is recommended for the following trades: Clearing, Paving, Demolition, Asbestos Removal, Landscaping, Painting, Siding, and Flooring.)
